Thanks so much for you introducing us to Peak Meadows. I have been walking my dog up there on weekends; as you called it, the distance from my lot to the Peak and the Georgian Bay Club is almost exactly the same. How nice is that? What an incredible backdrop the mountain provides; lots of wildlife to be seen. Great job on the road and lot layout; we thought the old-fashioned streetlights really suit. We can’t wait to move in next summer.
Ludger and Anne Kenny live at Seasons of Lake Scugog, Alliance Homes’ superb neighbourhood in Port Perry. “Everyone who walks in falls in love with our house,” says Anne Kenny about the Brighton bungalow. It was a great choice for the couple, with Ludger close to retiring from his career in commercial construction, and Anne working at a bank in Pickering. “I gave up my five-minute commute to work to move here,” she says, “but it’s worth it. Port Perry has it all – boating, fishing, golfing, even hunting. We’ve always liked this town.”

Bill and Sandra Kell live in an Alliance Homes residence at Kelly’s Landing in Barrie. “We were treated with dignity by Alliance Homes,” says Bill of the experience he and his wife Sandra enjoyed when they purchased their new home. “Our interaction with Alliance has been great,” Sandra adds. “We made a few minor changes to the original floorplan, and Alliance did what we requested, no problem. We had a quick closing, and after we moved in, they took care of the couple small things we needed in short order. We made the right decision.”

Jazin and Greg Bond live in Alliance Homes’ Orchard Highland Estates community with their son, Finley. “I’m originally from Port Perry,” Jazin says. “We chose to live in Whitby, because we both work here, and we have friends in Toronto and Port Perry. It’s a nice central location for us. When we came to Orchard Highland Estates to look, Alliance had built four homes on spec. The one we chose, the Howell, was already framed, so we got a good impression of what it would be like for living space. Our experience with Alliance Homes has been positive.”

Elaine Lally’s move into Alliance Homes’ neighbourhood at Seasons of Lake Scugog symbolized a critical step in independence for the then 26-year-old, who had spent much of the previous years in hospitals or largely dependent on others after a serious automobile accident. The decision for her to live in her own home carried with it a variety of specific requirements. “Alliance did everything I asked for,” says Elaine. “From the time I met the Sales Agent to meeting the builder himself, everyone in Alliance has been kind to me. That’s not always the case for a person with physical challenges.”

“We love it here and wouldn’t live anywhere else!” Andrew Steele and his wife Laurine and children Abigail and Mitchell love their new detached home at Seasons of Lake Scugog – the second Alliance home they bought in five years! “We were happy with our first Alliance home. It was well built, and we received good service from the builder,” Andrew says. “After we had two children, we needed a larger home. We purchased the 2,450 sq. ft. four-bedroom Madison on a 40′ lot. We really liked our first Alliance home – we just wanted something bigger.”

“We’re proud of our place. As soon as we moved in, it felt like a happy house.” When Sandra and Gordon Smyth moved into their Alliance Homes bungalow at Kelly’s Landing, it was coming “home” in more ways than one. Sandra and Gordon lived in Barrie about 35 years ago but moved closer to Toronto for their careers. When they decided to move north again, they chose Alliance’s neighborhood at Kelly’s Landing, largely for location. “We’re originally from Ireland, so we missed living near a lake,” Sandra says. “This community is right beside a conservation area, and it’s beautiful.”

“I just wanted to thank you for the excellent sales service provided by Alliance Homes. I have heard so many horror stories from friends who made expensive purchases from unscrupulous builders, and I was a little anxious about venturing into the new home territory. I couldn’t be happier with Alliance. All my concerns have been quickly and expertly dealt with. I highly recommended Alliance to my parents – and they now live in a new house around the corner from me. Thank you so much for taking good care of your customers.”

“My name is Tracy Gray. From the beginning of our Alliance Homes purchase till present, we have been made to feel so comfortable in our dealings with the sales team, right up to the after-sales service team. A lot of businesses are just worried about the bottom line and not so worried about the customers who help make that bottom line. It’s great and very refreshing to see that are still companies out there like Alliance Homes that truly do care about their customers. I am truly very pleasantly surprised with the service I have received.”
“I just wanted to send a big thank-you to Paul regarding the service he provided us in handling the previous issue. Both he and Dan went to our house to see the problem with the door and try to fix it themselves. After agreeing that Westwood would have to fix it, they contacted Westwood to come out and fix the door. Paul assured me that Westwood would be out to fix it Wednesday. With all the issues that need to be dealt with, I just wanted to send a special thank-you to Paul for handling this so quickly.”
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the work you’ve done on our beautiful new home. We have been very impressed with the speed and efficiency in the work that was done and are very happy with the service we’ve received. There have been some minor issues with the new house, and they are noted on the enclosed 30-Day Inspection Report. Again, they are of a minor nature and shouldn’t take too long to deal with. Overall, we are pleased with the house and the workmanship that was put into it.”
“Just got off the phone with Paul, your service rep, and had to drop a note to thank him, and for that matter all your staff, for the recent service support we have received. Paul corrected the bulk of our concerns with the home we purchased. Although there is a small list outstanding, we are confident that with his help, the items will all be fixed to our satisfaction. One of the big reasons we purchased an Alliance home was your reputation for service, and Paul and the service staff have shown recently that our decision was a valid one.”
“I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our Alliance home. We are not strangers to new homes, this one being our fourth, so we know what we are talking about when we say that it has been a pleasure living in one of your well-built homes for the past year. Every problem we had was dealt with professionally and swiftly by the site manager. We have never had this kind of prompt service before. Thank you for building a great home. We would highly recommend your company to anyone who wants quality.”

“We want to thank the team of Alliance, and especially Ken Clark and Paul Walmsley from the after-sales department, for the nice work they do. We think it is fantastic that Alliance has such great people working for them. This is our second house since we are in Canada (4 years). We heard so many negative things about builders of which we experienced some of it in the past, but for us, Alliance doesn’t belong in between those builders. We will recommend Alliance, that’s for sure! Thank you, Alliance!!!
